the snl dress rehearsal (which I attended tonight) had muuuuuuch more adam content!!! there was a sketch where adam played a zombie on a date with cecily strong. he had this prosthetic make up all over his face adksjdjdj it was a sight to behold. there was also a sketch where adam was on a bachelor-esque tv show and he had to choose between four different women akdndbdkdn he was wearing the most RIDICULOUS long blonde wig ugh you all DESERVE TO SEE THIS !!!!
HOW COULD I FORGET there was also a sketch where adam played the cashier at a store in a mall that had just gotten robbed, so the police officers ask him to describe what the person looked like…..and it was basically all of us talking about adam…. the lines were literally
officer: what color was his hair?
adam: beautiful 😍
officer: what did he look like?
adam: like michaelangelo himself sculpted him out of marble 😍
this was adam’s costume for the robbery sketch that didn’t air on the regular show last night!! if snl released these photos, does that mean maybe they will release the entire sketch ?? (please lol)
ok so I went to the snl dress rehearsal tonight!three sketches were cut from the live show (including my favorite one 😩) and they all had sooooo much prime content….we need snl to release them!!!
in one sketch a group of couples were hanging out playing board games. adam’s character was married to kate mckinnon. heidi gardner was the only single person at the game night, and she suggested they all play a game where they try to guess which movies certain famous quotes came from. adam’s character got really into the game. over time he started shifting away from kate mckinnon and closer to heidi. they were the only two people who could correctly guess the movie quotes. they had soooo much chemistry and began flirting with each other. at one point heidi’s character said “you have big dick energy” and adam said “that’s because it is.” then adam calls her his “little quote queen” and she calls him her “big flick daddy” and then they made out HARD. it reminded me of how he kissed in the movie what if 😩😩😩
22 hours of waiting and let’s just say the post-adam depression is real.. nothing can prepare you for watching that man live and yes he’s somehow BIGGER in person
SNL is such a rush, I was super lucky and got to see the live show which was so so much fun and also a little stressful tbh.. watching adam sprint/get a little lost trying to navigate the floor after finishing a sketch was honestly my favorite thing to see
also JOANNE wow.. I’m pretty proud of myself bc over on the left side from where i was, Jo was sitting front row, almost dead center, and right before the medieval times sketch, Adam came out and my section went absolutely ballistic (obviously bc he was in a gorgeous wig and way too close for comfort) but i was unprepared, so he turns around gives a smile and waves up to the peasants, screams ensue, and i covered my ears with my eyes wide bc, i’m not kidding, it was soo loud, ANYWAYS i look straight over at my girl Jo, with my hands over my ears and a kind of freaked out smile on my face (y’all are amazing for your passion, that’s just not me) our eyes meet and she LAUGHED, it was amazing and we shared in mutual discomfort!! she also seemed to be having the absolute time of her life, she laughed A LOT, and whoever was next to her was VERY enthusiastic (also i absolutely wasn’t prepared for the soft little smile on her face when adam said he was a husband and a father in his opening monologue) I can’t help but love a proud, supportive wife who’s had to put up with A LOT.
anyways now i can start my post TROS healing especially after seeing randy the intern, 10/10 recommend seeing SNL live (or in dress), it’s honestly such an amazing experience and hopefully adam will be back for #4 soon !!
